This is my experience with The Check Tech from OTB Powersports…
To start off I have a 2012 Ranger 800XP and a 2011 RZR 800S. Both are great machines and have 5,000 or so miles on them. Well the Ranger started having issues last winter plowing snow, fouling plugs, not starting generally being a pain in the A--!! I had it to the local Polaris dealer and $500 later it still running terrible! After pulling my hair out I found OTB on an ATV forum and checked them out. I figured nothing ventured nothing gained and ordered a Check Tech to try and fix it my self. Fast forward about a week with my laptop seat belted in and running around I noticed that the graph tracing the intake air temp was had spikes and dips in it. Like 30 degreese up to 90 degrees and then to zero and back up. This lead me to checking out the T-BAP. After cutting the zip tie holding the wire and connector together I found one of the wires could be stretched and was not solid. The copper wire had broken inside the insulation and was making contact when ever it wanted to. Vibration wile the motor was running was making and breaking contact at random and was the source of all my heart aches! After that I took a real hard look at my RZR and found the wires were routed and pinched tight on it too! To make a long story short I ordered a T_BAP pig tail for both and never looked back. I have loaned my Check Tech out to sever guys I ride with. Every time the issue is easily diagnosed and repaired, usually a broken wire like mine! Thank you Eric and every one at OTB for your help! You definitely have a loyal customer here!! Thanks Again Wayne
